    Mother-of-Pearl Clouds, also known as nacreous clouds, are an extraordinary atmospheric phenomenon that appear in the sky in the polar regions during the winter. They are renowned for their vibrant, iridescent colours that resemble the sheen of mother-of-pearl, from which they get their name.
