Germania Mint presents the first edition of the „Gods of Germania” series - Gold Minted Bars. The series consists of six releases, each presenting pairs of gods. This collection draws inspiration from the rich world of Germanic mythology, where the fate of humans and the forces of nature were overseen by powerful deities. The minimalist Proof design of the bars features the likenesses of the most important gods and goddesses. Each bar, available in a limited edition of 5,000 pieces, is sealed in a Safepack, combining minimal weight with maximum prestige.
Odin is the chief of the Germanic gods – ruler of Asgard, god of wisdom, war, and magic. According to mythology, he sacrificed one of his eyes to gain knowledge of the world’s fate, while his ravens, Huginn and Muninn, brought him news from the farthest realms. Odin symbolizes strength of spirit, courage, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge.
The gold bar featuring his image opens the “Gods of Germania” series. The obverse displays a finely minted portrait of Odin in Proof quality, capturing the majesty and power of this legendary deity. The reverse bears the Germania Mint logo and information about the precious metal. The bar is made of 999.9 fine gold sourced from LBMA-accredited suppliers.
Each bar is individually packaged in a protective Safepack, ensuring safe storage and an elegant presentation. The issue comprises 5,000 pieces.
